Job Description

The Payroll Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll remediation projects. This includes identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with Australian payroll regulations, and implementing corrective actions to resolve payroll issues.

  • Create a positive team member experience.
  • Build a team dedicated to payroll and employee taxes as the service offering builds.
  • Works effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage payroll remediation projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough payroll audits to identify discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address payroll discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on payroll remediation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
