We're looking for a Program Manager to lead a critical 18-month project that ensures employees are recognised and remunerated fairly and accurately.About the RoleIn this 18-month fixed-term contract, this is a high-impact leadership opportunity to drive a pay remediation project from strategy to execution.
You will manage the full lifecycle of the program – from governance and planning to stakeholder engagement and reporting – while working alongside internal teams and external experts.
Your work will support compliance, transparency, and fairness for our employees and organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver the program in line with defined timelines and governance structuresCollaborate with HR, payroll, finance, and legal to ensure end-to-end complianceEngage and manage third-party advisors and vendors to deliver agreed outcomesEnsure program documentation is auditable, accurate, and clearPrepare and deliver reports to senior management, regulators, unions, and employeesDevelop and maintain risk registers, decision logs, and project plans across multiple workstreamsSupport clear, employee-friendly communication on remediation outcomesWhat You'll BringStrong background in HR or Industrial Relations, ideally in complex environments in similar sectorsDemonstrated experience managing pay remediation, payroll audit, or award compliance projectsIn-depth knowledge of Australian Modern Awards – SCHADS Award highly regardedSolid project management skills, with a structured and outcomes-driven approachAdvanced Excel and data reconciliation capabilitiesExcellent stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and communication skillsA collaborative mindset with high integrity and discretionBonus Points If You Have:Experience working with external auditors, legal teams, or regulatorsExposure to organisations with immature systems or complex award interpretation issuesKnowledge of payroll systems or payroll operationsWhy Join Us?
