Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist to support our medical governance processes in a part-time role with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

About the Role:

This position involves managing credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with national and state standards, maintaining and administering the credentialing database, coordinating Medical Advisory Committee meetings, and providing secretarial support. The successful candidate will also assist with meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions, as well as provide operational support to senior leadership and participate in organisational projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credentialing processes and ensure compliance with national and state standards.
  • Maintain and administer the credentialing database.
  • Coordinate Medical Advisory Committee meetings and provide secretarial support.
  • Assist with meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Provide operational support to senior leadership.
  • Participate in organisational projects and initiatives.
  • Manage Private Health Fund Registrations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience in health credentialing (preferable) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organisational abilities are also essential. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively, making you an ideal candidate for this role.
