Clinical Healthcare Specialist

The position of Clinical Healthcare Specialist plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of comprehensive audits for spirometry conducted by medical practices under the Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme.

  1. Key responsibilities include designing and executing thorough audits to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  2. Providing expert advice on best-practice clinical approaches to quality health assessments is essential.
  3. Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and address areas of non-compliance is critical to the success of this role.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • A proven track record of conducting quality spirometry testing in a clinical environment, preferably over five years.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting audits of spirometry or similar in a health-related field.
  • Possession of a Certified Respiratory Function Scientist credential is mandatory.

Requirements

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Regular travel between various practices will be required, potentially involving overnight stays.
