Chef Supervisor Position

Job Description

This is a full-time role focused on delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for our 45 residents in an aged care home. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a catering team and contribute to the wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Catering Department
  • Lead, supervise, and support food service staff
  • Plan and prepare meals that meet nutritional and cultural requirements
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates
  • Experience in residential aged care and hospitality
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient computer literacy
  • A current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
