Job Description

The primary function of this role is to manage and coordinate the movement of cargo, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Melbourne Manager
  • Receive and make bookings for export freight
  • Process job registrations
  • Request Export Permits, lodge EDNs and PRAs
  • Arrange collections and deliveries of empty containers
  • Coordinate deliveries of containers to terminals
  • Prepare and issue invoices
  • Liaise with interstate and overseas offices, warehouses, suppliers/manufacturers and agents
  • Issue export documentation and liaise with quarantine for correct documentation and issues
  • Manage clients' accounts and keep them updated on shipment milestones

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven export sea freight experience
  • Positive and outgoing team player attitude
  • Strong and effective communication style
  • Great attention to detail
