About the Role
The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain capable of meeting the ever-growing demands of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion-dollar, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets. This critical role of Construction Contracts Manager on our Supply Execution Chain team will lead a program of build projects in Sydney, Australia.

Main Responsibilities
This position entails leading procurement activities for various professional services, including General Contractors, Architect Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Cost Management, Project Management, and others. The successful candidate will develop sourcing and negotiation strategies to meet project objectives and participate in supplier assessment and prepare contract award proposals. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring all contractual requirements are met according to the terms and conditions, executing procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects, and serving as the first line of defense/communication with site stakeholders on commercial issues.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Operations. You should have proven experience in contract management, preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects. A hyperscale data center or large building construction experience in an owner or general contractor capacity would be advantageous. Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terms and conditions, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in contract management software and tools are also essential.
