We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality network analysis services for Victoria's power system.

About the Role
  • Lead technical services to integrate network assets and system services into Victoria's Declared Shared Network, coordinating projects from Planning through to Delivery.
  • Oversee network and system performance monitoring, ensuring operational issues inform Network Planning to strengthen power system resilience.
  • Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders on the operational shift from thermal generation to high renewable penetration.
  • Build and empower a high-performing team, role modelling industry values and managing risk and workforce planning.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships and deliver action plans that enhance engagement and support strategic goals.

This role plays a pivotal part in preparing the power system for coal plant closures, ensuring all activities are completed for a smooth transition.

Apart from exceptional leadership skills, you'll need significant industry experience in power system planning, with strong knowledge of power system modelling, analysis, and primary plant design.
