We're part of Financial Services, which is responsible for driving the Group's strategy of building tomorrow's bank today. Our focus areas include trust, resilience, and capital generation. We partner with various teams across the bank to provide specialist advice, support, and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, and investor relations.

The FS Controls and Operations team, where this role is situated, oversees the management of various applications on behalf of Group Procurement and Group Property. This involves providing support to the Group Costing & Profitability Reporting teams, as well as delivering and operating the Group-wide Accounting Mapping Engine (FDM), ERP, EPM platforms.

This key role will drive strategic opportunities, build business cases, and implement governance of data and reporting tools as required. You'll also leverage strategic data initiatives such as Aptitude sub-ledger, Oracle EPM suites, Peoplesoft ERP, and other CBA group-wide data assets.

You'll be expected to reduce complexity and bespoke customisations, ensuring the platform stays 'evergreen' and ready for any future upgrade plans. Additionally, you'll build relationships with group finance and BU finance teams to better understand use cases for the EPM stack.

Your responsibilities will also include contributing to FINREP by simplifying and rationalising Excel templates and leveraging Narrative Reporting for month-end flash reporting. Furthermore, you'll re-imagine ERP modules suites dashboard capabilities and contribute to design and planning sessions involving upstream (ERP and sub-ledger) and downstream finance use cases.

This role will also involve being a Finance Systems specialist lead for ERP squad under the PACE model in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities. You'll leverage and manage development capability within Finance Systems, underpinned by a strong team with appropriate cover and deep SME knowledge.
