Student Access Ambassador

The Student Access Ambassador plays a pivotal role in enhancing opportunities for students by designing and delivering outreach programs that increase access to higher education. This involves developing leadership skills through mentoring student ambassadors.

About This Opportunity

This dynamic position requires experience in event management, engaging with young people, and flexible hours to accommodate occasional out-of-hours work. The ambassador will design and deliver on-campus and in-school activities designed to broaden access to higher education for students from regional and low socio-economic backgrounds.

  • Design, develop, and implement programs to engage students in Years 7-12.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including schools, faculties, and government.
  • Coordinate the delivery of outreach activities, including on-campus experiences, workshops, and presentations.
  • Supervise program officers, including workload management and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee administrative aspects of outreach activities, including communication, event planning, and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate and report on program outcomes, including post-event analysis and evaluation mechanism implementation.
