Job Description:

Ongoing, full-time opportunity to support offender rehabilitation and community safety in Victoria.

About Us: We deliver an effective corrections system for a safe community.

Our Community Correctional Services team manages and supervises prisoners on parole and clients under post sentence supervision and court orders.

About the Role

As a Case Manager, you will support offenders to successfully complete their court orders while balancing risks to community safety.

You will manage a case load of offenders with a range of order requirements aimed at reducing their risk of reoffending.

  • Risk Assessment and case planning
  • Providing interventions and addressing underlying causes of offending
  • Directing and monitoring compliance with offender's court order obligations

To be successful in this role, you will have experience or understanding of effective case management practices, proactively managing risk with complex individuals, modelling pro-social behaviours, and producing detailed reports.

A relevant qualification in social work, human services, criminal justice or criminology is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to offenders
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary
