Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer

About the Role:

The Senior Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for a large and diverse workforce.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery.

The successful candidate will have experience working with SAP payroll systems and a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and EBAs.

The team operates in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to manage competing deadlines is essential.

A collaborative approach to work, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll using SAP for a high-volume employee base
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, EBAs, and employment legislation
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and perform regular reconciliations
  • Support month-end reporting and internal/external audit processes
  • Respond to payroll queries and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
