Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to contribute to system upgrades, process improvements, and payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in day-to-day payroll operations while contributing expertise in system implementation and process improvement.

  • Collaborate with the project team to test, migrate, and implement new system features effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure workflows remain efficient and streamlined.
  • Provide confident support for payroll-related inquiries.
  • Assist with fortnightly and monthly payroll processing with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, including onboarding, terminations, and leave management.
About You
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Proven expertise in accurate payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication skills - whether working with people or data, you convey information clearly and confidently.
  • Hands-on experience managing HRIS systems efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Employment Hero software is advantageous but not essential.
