**Mental Health Support Professional**
The role of a Mental Health Support Professional is to provide individualized support to individuals in need, working closely with them to achieve their goals and promote their independence.
Key responsibilities include assisting participants with daily living tasks, supporting them at appointments and social outings, and helping them build their capacity and confidence.
As a Mental Health Support Professional, you will be working within recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centred practices, providing support that addresses the psychosocial barriers faced by individuals experiencing mental illness.
Skylight Programs deliver a range of community mental health services, working alongside individuals, families, and carers to promote recovery and wellbeing.
Located in the Murray Mallee region, Skylight is seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Professionals.
Successful applicants will have a Certificate III Individual Support (Home and Community) and/or relevant work experience, as well as sound knowledge and awareness of mental illness and related comorbidities.
Other essential requirements include a smartphone with internet capabilities, a current SA Drivers Licence, and a willingness to use own vehicle.
Applicants are also required to hold a DHS Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
