Support Specialist

The Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to participants
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
  • Encouraging participation in recreational activities and social events
  • Supporting participants in achieving their goals and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • NDIS Worker Screener Card or willingness to obtain it immediately
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • Fully insured and registered vehicle
  • Able to communicate effectively in English

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Specialised Professional Care (SPC) Management Training

Work Environment:

  • Casual position
  • Variable hours, up to 12 per week
