Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategy and Sales Support/Enablement professional to join our team supporting accelerated growth of WEX's APAC business, primarily Fleet as well as supporting the Corporate Payments business in the region as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Commercial Director and Customer Leadership Team (CLT) to support the formulation and review of strategic and corporate plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and nurture key relationships with stakeholders across the entire business, including influencing executives, obtaining buy-in, and collaborating with peers.
  • Performance Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of activities, while contributing to internal LT/ELT reporting requirements.
  • Market Dynamics: Monitor changes in the market and competitive landscape, providing data support for business cases, forecasting and analysing revenue targets, and supporting business process re-engineering.
  • Partnerships: Identify and develop new partnerships that can enhance the company's market position and growth.
Sales Support / Enablement Initiatives
  • Drive the successful implementation of key commercial initiatives identified for APAC LOB business growth.
  • Work with the commercial, deal teams and product teams to build high-impact customer proposals with WEX's largest customers and strategic partners.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years relevant strategy experience (in-house or consulting).
  • Proficiency in developing succinct analysis and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Word and Powerpoint.
  • Intermediate Excel experience (nested IF statements, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Energetic pragmatic approach to delivering with and through peers, able to manage multiple and shifting priorities, able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Strategic growth mindset.
  • Highly competent and confident in group and individual presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively across all levels both internally and with partners.
  • Alignment with WEX leadership values and behaviours.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Australian citizenship or the ability to work in Australia.
