We're looking for a skilled Strategic Growth Specialist to join our team at Arup. As part of our proposal teams, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth and development across Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Melbourne, offering an exciting opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the firm's industry, markets, services, and people.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify business opportunities and develop strategic growth plans.
  • Proposal Development: Develop bespoke client proposals and pitches that showcase Arup's expertise and capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key personnel and stakeholders throughout the bidding process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the growth planning process.

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A strong background in business development, including market analysis and proposal development.
  • Excellent proofing and content development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality results.
