Procurement Specialist Role

- This pivotal position is a key part of the organization's Procurement and Supply Chain team, focusing on category strategies to achieve value for money, appropriate service levels and adherence to professional best practices.

About You

We seek a proactive strategic thinker with a strong background in procurement or supply chain management. To be successful, you will have a Graduate Certificate or Degree in a relevant discipline and either membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or actively pursuing membership. Your ability to engage with key stakeholders and understand business needs is essential, as is your commitment to delivering value and compliance in all sourcing activities.

About The Role

This role involves contributing to category strategies, leading sourcing activities within your category, overseeing the creation and execution of RFx events that align with established strategies, and providing insights into supplier capabilities and market dynamics.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this position, you must bring experience in a similar strategic procurement or supply chain role, a Graduate Certificate or Degree in a relevant discipline, the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders, excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines.
