Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Officer to join our team. As a key member of our management group, you will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives and contribute to the effective functioning of our office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the office of the Deputy Director General, providing confidential administrative support, coordinating liaison across departments and external organizations, and providing secretariat support to committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.
  • Manage the office of the Deputy Director General, including supervising staff and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate liaison across departments and external organizations, including arranging meetings and preparing documentation.
  • Provide secretariat support to committees, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and arranging meeting logistics.
Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate:

  • A high level of experience in providing administrative support at a senior executive level, with ability to work independently and apply discretion.
  • Considerable experience liaising with external bodies, preparing documentation, and contributing to parliamentary processes.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to build productive relationships.
  • Considerable experience providing secretariat support to committees, including preparation of agendas and papers, taking minutes, and arranging meeting logistics.
