Job Title: Operations Coordinator

As an Operations Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders within your operational area. This includes train crew, network, maintenance, and operations teams.

You will be responsible for accurately entering data into our transportation and labor management systems, ensuring that all information is detailed and of high quality.

The successful candidate will direct the movement of crews across their designated area to minimize travel time while preventing delays to services. Additionally, they will identify potential disruptions to our services and implement efficient solutions to restore normal operations.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a positive attitude, a keen interest in the rail industry, and strong team-player qualities. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, possess creative problem-solving skills, and have a customer-focused approach.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern is essential.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple mediums are required.
  • Intermediate computer skills, with experience in transport or labor management systems advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Confidence in reviewing information and making informed decisions.
  • A long-term career interest in Transport and Logistics is highly desirable.
