Senior Manager for Research Group

This is a key position in the Precision Measurement Group at the Institute for Photonics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Support: Provide strategic leadership and support to the Research Group, ensuring alignment with the Faculty's objectives and the University's overall strategy.
  • Budget Management: Manage significant resources and intellectual property, prioritizing resources to meet deadlines and achieve high-impact results.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships across diverse stakeholders, collaborating to remove barriers and deliver shared objectives.
  • Reporting: Develop high-quality executive reports and committee papers, communicating effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in management, project management, business or administration, as well as relevant experience.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Desirable – experience in working in an environment that supports technical objectives or qualifications in a technical field.
