About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about Indigenous affairs and want to make a meaningful difference in their community. Key Responsibilities- Provide information and advice to stakeholders, process routine requests and documentation, and offer secretariat support to committees.
- Assist with the development and implementation of organisational strategy, action plans, and procedures, while contributing to internal, government, and regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and risk management processes.
- Liaise with staff and students across University units and external stakeholders on specific matters, and assist with managing the accuracy of information in University databases, websites, and publications.
- Assist with planning and participating in key events like Open Days and Orientation, and actively engage in professional development opportunities provided by the University.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree within the last three years (awarded before commencing the program).
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, coupled with effective interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- High-level computer proficiency with software like Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), with a commitment to cultural diversity, inclusion, ethical practice principles, and workplace health and safety.
