About This OpportunityThis program accelerates careers by building on your bachelor's degree with tailored practical skill development. You will have access to a training and development plan, alongside structured leadership, professional development, and coaching opportunities, supported by a competitive salary and valuable staff networks.
Key Responsibilities- Information & Administrative Support
You will provide information and advice to various stakeholders, process routine requests and documentation, and offer secretariat support to committees.
- Strategic & Operational Assistance
Assist with the development and implementation of organisational strategy, action plans, and procedures, while contributing to internal, government, and regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and risk management processes.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Content Management
Liaise with staff and students across university units and external stakeholders on specific matters, and assist with managing the accuracy of information in university databases, websites, and publications.
- Event Participation & Professional Growth
Assist with planning and participating in key events like open days and orientation, and actively engage in professional development opportunities provided by the university.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree within the last three years.
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, coupled with effective interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
The university supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to fill their cultural responsibilities, with access to additional paid Cultural Leave annually. Indigenous employees are encouraged to join the university's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Staff Network, with significant events held throughout the year.
