Procurement Expertise

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the application of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide expert advice and assurance on procurement processes, including development and compliance review of procurement plans and minutes.
  • • Respond to advice requests in a timely manner, escalating sensitive or complex issues to the team where appropriate.
  • • Work collaboratively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.
  • • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and standard operating procedures.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • • Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
  • • Demonstrated experience contributing to continuous improvement by updating intranet pages and delivering training.
  • • Demonstrated experience effectively managing several competing priorities and strategic directions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • • A strong understanding of the application of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.
  • • Experience undertaking end-to-end procurement.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external entities.
