Procurement Career Opportunity

The role of Procurement Specialist is pivotal in driving commercial success and delivering best-in-class procurement services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of procurement services, providing strategic commercial support, and assisting the business with financial management as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will contribute to creating positive user experiences for stakeholders during procurement processes. They will assist in developing, implementing, and managing category strategies in line with the overall direction of the defined category plan.

Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality supply market engagement activity, understanding industry best practices, and adhering to organisational values, compliance, and probity requirements.

About You
  • A relevant degree qualification or significant work experience deemed equivalent.
  • Professional Procurement qualification such as CIPS (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in procurement or commercial management in a large complex organisation.

Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across a diverse supplier base, strong understanding of procurement governance and risk management in complex environments.
