Senior Category Specialist - Procurement

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-tier procurement processes, assistance, and advice to key stakeholders involved in procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and report on procurement risk and performance, ensuring alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement strategic enhancements to optimize procurement practices.
- Employ your experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve goals.
- Undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities to support successful procurement operations.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, providing regular reports and updates.

Requirements:

- A bachelor's degree in a related area is essential, demonstrating your solid foundation in procurement principles.
- You must possess a minimum of 6-8 years of practical experience in the field or a related area, showcasing your extensive expertise.
- Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures within the procurement domain is crucial for success in this role.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills are necessary to assess risk, identify opportunities, and drive improvements.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance and advice to stakeholders.
