Job Title: Complex Claims Professional
Job Description:As a seasoned legal or allied health professional, you will leverage your expertise in complex and common law personal injury claims to oversee liability portfolio.
The role involves strategic claims management in accordance with legislation and company policies, annual insurance renewals, and supporting the Injury Management team in implementing proactive injury management and rehabilitation strategies.
Duties:
- Coordinate claim receipt and ensure timely lodgement with brokers and insurers.
- Manage liability claims, including developing and implementing proactive liability claims strategies.
- Administer liability claims, maintaining a comprehensive database.
- Escalate increased risk to assist with mitigation.
- Ensure compliance and report on legislative changes.
- Schedule and participate in claim reviews with key stakeholders.
- Authorise and process invoicing for costs within policy limits.
- Support training development and delivery for risk and claims management.
- Monitor service standards for external stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, brokers, and insurers for certificates across all liability lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in managing personal injury claims.
Preferably experienced in managing technical or common law claims.
Ability to read and interpret incident records and duty of care documents.
Developed negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and competing tasks.
Outcome-focused with intermediate IT and technology skills.
