About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Business Partner to join our team at George Weston Foods.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead and drive process improvement initiatives across the Chilled & Frozen sites.
- To develop initiatives for cost reductions and effective utilisation of resources.
- To lead process improvement projects through the Maintenance, Technical and Manufacturing teams.
- To build effective relationships with key departmental teams who can deliver the business goals.
- To establish benchmark standards for plant utilisation, OEE, labour utilisation and manufacturing process loss.
- To provide leadership, structure, resources to improve HSE and engagement to best-in-class levels.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven background in continuous improvement and optimisation.
- The ability to influence stakeholders within a complex matrix organisation.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar position in a FMCG background.
- Highly collaborative skills with excellent business partnering abilities.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to support the team when system issues arise.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Food Sciences disciplines (highly desirable).
