Job Title: Office Manager and Receptionist

Fin Design + Effects is a leading design and VFX house seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager and Receptionist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our studio, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our VFX studio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reception Duties:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and visitor logs.
    • Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
  • Office Management and Administrative Support:
    • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
    • Ensure a clean, organized, and productive office environment.
    • Liaise with building management and service providers.
    • Manage calendars, booking schedules, and travel arrangements.
  • Client and Vendor Services:
    • Assist with client hospitality and coordination.
    • Ensure a positive client experience.
  • People + Culture Team Assistance:
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training.
    • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Office Expense Management:
    • Monitor and manage office expenses and budget.
    • Coordinate with the finance department.
  • Compliance, Safety, and Security:
    • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
    • Implement and monitor health and safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in office management, reception, or a related administrative role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in office software.

Work Environment:
