Payroll Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of the payroll function, you will play a critical role in ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process fortnightly payroll with accuracy, correctness, and timeliness.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files for correct payroll services.
  3. Perform end-to-end payroll processing to ensure fair compensation for team members.
  4. Prepare and submit payments to third parties for employee deductions (e.g., child support, salary sacrifice).
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a full-function payroll role.
  2. Strong skills in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Word.
  3. Detailed-oriented with high data accuracy standards.
  4. Knowledge of current payroll legislation.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  6. Familiarity with payroll systems is beneficial.
