Procurement and Contracts Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Contracts Specialist to lead the end-to-end procurement processes for our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a forward procurement plan across procurement activities, conduct complex procurement planning activities, and develop high-level strategies.
  • Provide high-quality procurement and contract management documentation and processes in line with principles of government procurement policy and in adherence to department policies and procedures.
  • Establish standing offer arrangements and panel arrangements to maximise efficiencies in processes and costs.
  • Provide timely, professional, and strategic procurement advice to clients, senior management, and suppliers on procurement processes and practices as they relate to legislation and organisational policies, procedures, delegations, and guidelines.
  • Conduct tender development, release, evaluation processes, and drafting and awarding contracts, and work with stakeholder groups to develop and execute market research, risk analysis, sourcing strategies, procurement and evaluation plans, and contract specifications.
