Job Title: Procurement and Contracts Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled procurement and contracts specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from initial planning through to contract award and administration.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, including project teams, procurement staff, and external suppliers. You will also possess a strong understanding of commercial principles, contractual agreements, and industry-specific regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline;
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a procurement or contracts-related role, preferably within the construction industry;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and negotiate commercial agreements;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
