Strategic Policy Project Manager

The Program Manager, Policy is a senior leadership position that oversees strategic policy projects and fosters collaboration across teams.
This role plays a key part in shaping policy contexts, translating research into practice, and strengthening the Institute's influence through innovative and impactful work.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including cultural safety and effective communication with these communities.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of policy development, research and evaluation or project management, with a clear understanding of jurisdictional policy cycles, production, impact and evaluation.
- Lead and collaborate with diverse personnel, supervising staff and fostering a culturally safe and high performing team environment.
- Apply conceptual, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills to achieve successful outcomes.
- Produce high quality reports, briefs and advocacy materials through excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A current resume outlining relevant experience and qualifications.
