By volunteering as a social visitor, you can make a positive impact on the lives of elderly people and enhance their quality of life. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve mental health and reduce feelings of loneliness.
Our volunteers work together to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community through our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
As a volunteer, you will be part of a wonderful group of individuals who partner with us to enhance the lives of clients cared for by HammondCare.
We provide training, resources, and support to ensure you have a rewarding experience. All we ask is that you bring your smiling service and a willingness to engage with others.
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
