
Enhancing Lives Through Positive Behaviour Support

This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their support networks through tailored, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality care that promotes positive change and enhances well-being.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing and developing strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices.
- Conducting comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
- Designing and implementing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Providing education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence.
- Collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Endorsement as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the relevant authority also required).
- A relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Disability Studies).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
- Access to your own vehicle and a current driver's licence.
- A NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
