Job Title: Business Capabilities Coordinator/Advisor

About the Role

The Business Capabilities Coordinator and Advisor are responsible for supporting and leading members in a team.

This includes:

  • Building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with stakeholders concerning business services including defects and enhancements across systems
  • Ensuring stakeholder understanding of the investment and planning cycle to enhance capabilities
Key Responsibilities - APS5 Business Capabilities Coordinator (BCC)
  • Serving as a key contact point for routine stakeholder communication
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders concerning business services
  • Assisting with and managing defects and enhancements across systems
  • Ensuring stakeholder understanding of the investment and planning cycle to enhance capabilities
  • Supporting the development and implementation of effective standards and processes
  • Embedding continuous improvement in service delivery through analysis and reporting
  • Providing secretariat services for stakeholders and user groups
  • Performing general administrative support activities
Key Responsibilities - APS6 Business Capabilities Advisor (BCA)
  • Serving as a key contact point for routine stakeholder communication
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders concerning business services
  • Developing and implementing effective standards and processes
  • Embedding continuous improvement in service delivery through analysis and reporting
  • Providing secretariat services for stakeholders and user groups
  • Supporting business managers with the development of briefs, materials, and reports
  • Leading a small team to support stakeholders and implement improvements

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to coordinate and support secretariat responsibilities
  • Able to collaborate and contribute to a positive workplace culture

  • Citizenship: To be eligible for employment, applicants must be Australian citizens
  • Security Clearance: Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
