Job Summary

This role involves working as a high-level strategic advisor within a dynamic and results-driven environment to develop evidence-based advice to senior leaders on shaping the organisation's capability investment portfolio.

  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, maturing, and results-driven environment to develop and implement solutions to complex challenges.
  • Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of business processes to professionalise the organisation's capability planning, delivery, and sustainment functions.
  • Build relationships and regularly communicate with stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the organisation's capabilities being developed and interdependencies.
  • Compile and add value to corporate reporting relevant to the planning and delivery of the organisation's capability investment program.
  • Provide independent analysis of projects to assess their ongoing health/relevance.
  • Prepare papers and briefings on capability-related matters to support informed and evidence-based decision making by senior management.
  • Participate actively in the organisation's Community of Practice, including providing presentations of capability-related topics.
  • Track, analyse, and propose solutions relevant to common-mode risks/issues associated with workforce, security, facilities and similar.
  • Define, track, manage, and report on benefits for projects, and work closely with projects to maximise the likelihood of intended benefits being realised.
