Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team as a Home Support Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will provide customized support and services to our clients, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with grocery shopping and meal planning
  • Monitor and manage medications, as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in individual support or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving or related field; experience working with older adults preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; ability to travel to client homes
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
