Sales Professional

We are seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our team at Hitachi Global Air Power Australia. In this autonomous role, you will become a trusted partner to our customers, providing support for our compressed air solution products and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Account Management of our current customer base
- Preparing quotes and tenders
- Identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet and build the customer base
- Participating in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
- Liaising with warehouse, production and service teams to ensure an outstanding customer journey from sale to delivery and installation
You will enjoy being independent, whilst also being part of a well-resourced team, with support to help you focus on what you do best.

You are a successful sales professional who is looking for a fresh challenge with opportunity to progress in a global business. You appreciate the best and will thrive working with a renowned and globally recognised brand.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a business offering products and maintenance solutions
- Experience selling in the Industrial sector (mining, mechanical, manufacturing, etc)
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
- Well refined negotiating and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and deliver on revenue targets
- Ability to relate to people at all levels
- Computer literacy - Excel, Powerpoint.
- Experience with SAP is a benefit but not essential.
Capital equipment sales experience is highly desirable, but what's most important is your ability to build long term relationships and take ownership of the end-to-end sales process.
