About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team in Sydney. As a key member, you will work closely with our Project Manager on bespoke fitout projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career into project management or contract management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and Negotiate Contracts

Draft, review, and negotiate contractual details, including specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Manage Contract Changes

Prepare and issue contract change proposals and amendments.

Customer Engagement

Respond to customer requests for proposals and prepare RFTs for potential subcontractors.

Project Monitoring

Monitor compliance with contract requirements and ensure all conditions are satisfied.

Subcontractor Management

Manage subcontractors to ensure project targets and key milestones are achieved.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of all contract correspondence and versions using Procore software and Cheops.

Progress Reporting

Prepare monthly reports detailing project status, expenditures, and progress.

Trade Compliance

Review trade compliance agreements and assist in planning equipment and resource requirements for projects.

WHS Risk Assessments

Conduct WHS risk assessments and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years experience as a Contracts Administrator in the Australian fitout/refurb/new build construction sector.

Skills

Strong understanding of contract law and excellent communication skills.

Software Proficiency

Proficiency in contract management software (Procore and Cheops experience preferred)
