Job Title: Patient Accounts Team Leader

About the Role:

The Finance Division is responsible for providing strong operational finance and performance reporting analysis across the health service. The sub-units within the division include Financial Operations, Revenue and Financial Services, Patient Accounts, and Procurement & Supply.

Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Accounts Team Leaders provide leadership and support to the Patient Accounts team as they go about their duties. These duties include but are not limited to team management, HR tasks including SED planning, rostering, and leave management, developing, analysing and disseminating financial reports, engaging in end of month activities for the wider financial team, working with the IT team to investigate and solve system problems related to billing and debt recovery, and managing other issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. You will also need to have experience in team management, HR, and financial reporting.
