At KPMG, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our Business & Tax team in Brisbane. As a Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional services to our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements for various entities, including sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships, for review by senior accountants or managers.
  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships, for review by senior accountants or managers.
  • Prepare business activity statements for review by senior accountants or managers.
  • Process journals into client software and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding client matters, including payment arrangements.
  • Review and sort client information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in research for the preparation of advice and file notes.

Requirements

  • Be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or hold a Part CA equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in your area of expertise.
  • Possess a relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification.
  • Exhibit highly developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal qualities.
  • Be able to present confidently and effectively.
  • Display initiative and a willingness to contribute to innovative solutions in a changing world of service delivery.
