Job Title: Senior Ecologist - Lead Ecological Consulting Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team at Immerge Recruitment Services. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for leading ecological consulting projects across NSW, VIC, and QLD. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including biodiversity assessments, ecological surveys, and impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fieldwork and lead teams on ecological consulting projects
  • Manage biodiversity assessments and ecological surveys
  • Develop and implement ecological reports and impact assessments
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Lead and mentor junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in ecological consulting, project management, and field-based surveys
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
