Job Summary:
The Tasmanian Government is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Coronary Care Unit at the Launceston General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with coronary artery disease and other cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Experience working in a coronary care unit or similar setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
