We are seeking an experienced Administration Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional administration services to patients, medical officers and staff.
Job Description:- Support the Administration Manager to lead a team of administrators in delivering efficient, effective and responsive administration services.
- Provide supervision and oversight to the administration team.
- Process and interpret Health Fund Validations.
- Ensure accurate cash, cheque and credit payments are received and processed daily and balanced at end of day.
- Understand medicare guidelines for accurate referral management and item number rulings.
- Understand MBS Item numbers relevant to day hospital and medical billing.
- Have competent skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Deliver a high level of customer service by ensuring appropriate delivery of services to patients and their families.
- Prior experience supervising medical administrators is desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of Medicare billing process, private health, gap payments and safety nets.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team environment and plan, coordinate and organise workloads to achieve quality patient service outcomes in a timely manner.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Prior knowledge and experience in training and development programs ensuring adequate skill levels are maintained to meet operational needs, achieve strategic goals and engage team members.
- Proven ability to establish successful customer relationships with patients, doctors and other stakeholders by ensuring needs and expectations are understood and managed in a timely and effective manner.
