About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HCM Functional Lead to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a key member of our Human Capital Management (HCM) Program, you will play a critical role in overseeing HR system implementations and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effective and efficient gathering of business requirements, design workshops, and playbacks with the business and implementation partner.
  • Ensure the SuccessFactors solution meets requirements and conforms to SAP best practices and standards.
  • Lead discussions with business on opportunities for both functional and process improvements aligning to the transformation agenda.
  • Ensure the solution design utilizes standard SuccessFactors functionality effectively, and that customizations are deployed to support complex processes.
  • Collaborate with the SI functional leads and team, participate in design workshops, playbacks, and contribute to challenging design decisions.
  • Contribute to development, review, approval, and maintenance of timely and accurate product documentation.
  • Collaborate across the program team to ensure outstanding design decisions, functional/technical debt, and identified risks/issues are followed up on and raised at appropriate forums and management levels.
  • Escalate solution design conflicts within and across the functional streams to the Business Transformation Director and work with them to resolve the conflicts.
  • Develop and/or review options papers and governance materials as required to increase awareness and acceptance of the business processes and/or solution design.
  • Provide support to up/downstream and other workstreams as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working as an SAP SuccessFactors HCM Functional Lead role in large transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of business analysts and architects to deliver a high-impact and high-quality engagement with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships, and manage customer expectations.
  • Excellent consulting skills, including leading large-scale workshops with multiple stakeholders, liaising confidently and effectively with senior executives.
  • Strong HR functional skills, particularly in Recruitment, Onboarding, Core HR, and Payroll.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful programs/projects preferably in NSW Government context.
  • Strong technical skills, including expertise in SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules and SAP ECC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs/projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • At ease working with ambiguity and energized by delivering value in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
