About the Role

The Membership and Communications Officer will be responsible for delivering exceptional member support to increase engagement, retention, and awareness of all services and benefits offered to IPWEA-QNT members. This role will also involve creating content and managing IPWEA-QNT's communications to ensure members and stakeholders are informed about the latest news, member events, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and helpful responses to member enquiries via calls and emails.
  • Create and coordinate content and communications across various platforms, including e-newsletters, website, and knowledge resource centers.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support to regional branch committees by attending meetings, ensuring agendas, minutes, and action items are managed effectively.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider team as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a communications and/or administrative role.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and member-centric approach with fantastic attention to detail.
  • An open, inclusive, and collaborative working style, and the ability to support a positive team environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience using CRM systems.
  • Experience working with a member association is highly regarded, although not essential.
