We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Service Supervisor to join our team at Bosch Rexroth in Brisbane, QLD. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and controlling the activities of our internal Service team to maintain customer satisfaction and meet organizational and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive existing service strategies and visit customers to sell service products such as maintenance contracts.
- Continuously strive to achieve operational targets set by the organization.
- Ensure quality objectives are met, including lead-time, NCR, customer feedback, quality action list, calibration, testing and tagging, certification, tool listings, etc.
- Ensure all relevant licenses, tickets, and inductions are current and up-to-date.
- Supervise employees, contractors, and visitors as required from a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality perspective.
- Coordinate internal service jobs and release and coordinate service production orders.
- Provide technical support to sales engineers and technicians.
- Maintain and supervise upgrades of the test rig.
- Train, guide, and support junior staff, including apprentices and trades assistants, to improve capacity within the team.
Requirements:
- Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
- Mechanical Trade certificate with a minimum of 5 years post-trade experience.
- Proven experience managing a team, including Team Leader, Supervisor, or Leading Hand roles.
- Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components.
- Previous experience in hydraulic component repair.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Effective teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Some MS Office skills required.
