About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Team Lead to join our team at GUCCI AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including visual merchandising and safety standards.
- Drive key clientele strategies to build and nurture a loyal customer base.
- Work closely with Head Office departments to deliver strategic goals, including HR, Client Engagement, Finance, and Merchandising.
- Mentor and develop management team members to provide first-line support to Client Advisors.
- Partner with the Retail Director and HR on people-related items, including recruitment, onboarding, development plans, and performance management.
- Build, develop, and retain a strong team through effective staff coaching and development.
- Lead and support the management of Gucci events, focusing on staffing, client appointments, and meeting budgeted sales targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in luxury retail is highly regarded.
- Clear communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and managing a large team to achieve and exceed KPIs.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters, including underperformance and formal disciplinary processes.
- The ability to problem-solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
