Job Summary

A highly experienced leader is required to shape the delivery of exceptional support services in the public health sector.

This role leads the development and delivery of procurement and supply chain services, ensuring the optimization of procurement value and alignment with organizational strategies.

About the Role
  • Lead sourcing and contract management across the public health system.
  • Promote best practice product sourcing, warehousing, supply chain logistics, and distribution.
  • Provide leadership for a customer-focused service in a complex delivery environment.
  • Ensure procurement standards are met and maintain a safe workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Contract Management: Lead sourcing and contract management activities across the public health system, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Promote best practice product sourcing, warehousing, supply chain logistics, and distribution to optimize procurement value and minimize costs.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and collaboration to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, processes, and systems that meet organizational needs.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure procurement standards are met, and a safe workplace culture is maintained.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Senior Executive Experience: Senior executive level experience in a related discipline, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, such as business administration, commerce, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry processes and practices related to supply chain management, contract management, and probity.
